Griffin and Hardaway Named Commencement Speakers

April 24, 2024 — Cleveland State Community College will conduct two commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 3, 2024. The 10 a.m. ceremony will honor graduates in the Business and Healthcare programs. The 2 p.m. ceremony will honor graduates in the Advanced Technologies, Arts and Humanities, Education, Social Sciences, STEM and Tennessee Valley Early College programs. Jonathan Cantrell – Student Athlete to Trustee

April 23, 2024 — Born and raised in Bradley County, Jonathan Cantrell grew up riding earthmoving and paving equipment with his grandfather and going to Cleveland State Community College basketball games with his father. Now the President of Caldwell Paving, Cantrell has been a Cleveland State student athlete, alumnus, contributor, contractor and trustee. Dr. Andy White - Cleveland State's 8th President

April 17, 2024 — Cleveland State Community College welcomed Dr. Andy White as the eighth president of the college earlier this month. White served 20 years in the United States Air Force then worked for the University of Tennessee, Volunteer State Community College and Belmont University. Social Work Faculty Spotlight – Jana Pankey

April 10, 2024 — She grew up less than a mile from Cleveland State Community College, riding her bicycle on the tennis courts and going to basketball games with her father. Later, she became the first medical social worker and youngest department head at Cleveland Community Hospital.
