Galloway Found What She Was Looking For at CSCC

January 05, 2018 — CLEVELAND, Tenn. – When Kimberly “Kimmie” Galloway was choosing a college, she had three main things she was looking for. She needed a college close to home because she was taking care of her sick mother at the time. She wanted to attend a community college because of the Tennessee Promise, and she needed a flexible schedule where she would not have to go to school every day. At CSCC, she found all of these things. She was able to remain close to her hometown of Copper Basin. She was also able to take advantage of Tennessee Promise, as well as flexible scheduling options. Harrison Benefits from CSCC Honors Program

January 02, 2018 — When Emmalie Harrison graduated from Meigs County High School, she initially wanted to go to a four-year university, but her parents encouraged her to stay close to home to take advantage of the Tennessee Promise so she chose to attend Cleveland State Community College. Electrical Maintenance, No Longer a Man's Field

December 14, 2017 — Sequoyah High School students Cheyenne Laws and Hallie Ragsdale are getting a taste of what college is like while still enrolled in high school. The high school seniors are enrolled in the Electrical Maintenance program at Cleveland State Community College’s Monroe County Center. CSCC Music Department Presents Holiday Concert

December 13, 2017 — The Chamber Choir and Vocal Rhapsody Ensemble of Cleveland State Community College will present a concert celebrating the holiday season on Thursday, December 21 in the George R. Johnson Cultural Heritage Center. Student and adjunct instrumentalist will begin the prelude at 6:30, followed by the choral ensembles. The prelude will include selections by Stephen Brannen, guitar, Roger Lantigua, violin, Daina Maystruck and Anastasiya Zavadaska, piano and flute. CSCC Students Receive NCHC Awards

November 27, 2017 — Two Cleveland State Community College students recently received awards at the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) Conference. Yvette Krupansky won the John J.
