Jennifer Bledsoe Chosen as Chief of Police at CSCC

July 12, 2018 — Cleveland State Community College recently selected Jennifer Bledsoe as the Chief of Campus Police.  Prior to accepting this position, Bledsoe served as a POST Certified Police Officer for 18 years. She was a patrol officer with the University of Tennessee and was assigned to criminal investigations as a detective for over ten years. Fox Chosen as VP for Finance and Operations at CSCC

July 12, 2018 — Cleveland State Community College recently appointed Alisha Fox as Vice President for Finance and Operations. Prior to accepting this position, Fox served as the Interim Vice President for Finance and Operations, as well as a number of other roles at CSCC including Assistant Vice President for Finance and Operations, Interim Director of Fiscal Services, Director of Procurement, Disbursement and Contract Services and the Director of Purchasing and Contracts. Prior to accepting these positions at CSCC, she served as the General Manager for the Chattanooga State Bookstore, as well as the General Manager for the Cleveland State Bookstore. Sewell Finds Her Home at Alma Mater

May 30, 2018 — Growing up, Cleveland State Service-Learning Program Assistant Brooklyn Sewell never thought college was for her. Fast forward a few years and not only has she completed her associate degree, but she will graduate with her bachelor’s in December and is already making plans to complete her master’s degree, and even considering a doctorate! Sewell originally decided to pursue her realtor license because it only required three weeks of school, but said she truly enjoyed the classroom experience and even studying to pass the Real Estate License Exam. Once she obtained her license, she immediately felt like something was missing from her life. CSCC’s Mundava Selected for ARL Leadership Fellows Program

January 11, 2018 — Cleveland State Librarian Maud Mundava has been selected for the 2018–2019 Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Leadership Fellows program, a cohort of 30 senior-level librarians from around the country who will participate in a year-long deep study within the profession. Fox and Dawson Chose for Interim Appointments at CSCC

January 02, 2018 — Cleveland State Community College recently appointed Alisha Fox as Interim Vice President for Finance and Operations and Cindy Dawson as Interim Executive Director of Advancement and the Cleveland State Foundation. These appointments come after Dr. Tommy Wright, Vice President of Finance and Advancement / Executive Director of the Cleveland State Foundation, announced that he will be leaving the college after eight years of service to serve as the President of Southwest Virginia Community College.
