March 20, 2023 — Cleveland State Community College Athletics Director and Head Baseball Coach, Michael Policastro, achieved his 1000th collegiate head coaching victory this month. April 13, 2022 — Recently, Cleveland State Community College hosted Archie Manning to campus for a night of conversations about his life in the National Football League and raising three sons, two of whom became college and professional football stars. Over 1,300 people were in attendance, and over $106,000 was raised for the CSCC Foundation. Building on this success, CSCC has selected former Lady Vols basketball player Tamika Catchings as its speaker in February of 2023. October 11, 2021 — For the last 25 years, Lee Cigliano has been a fixture on the sidelines as he guided the Cleveland State Community College men's basketball team. Now, after a very successful career as head coach of the Cougars, Cigliano has decided to pass the torch to assistant coach Rafael Howard. July 29, 2021 — Not only are the student athletes competitive in their games at Cleveland State Community College, but they’re also dominating in the classrooms. The CSCC athletic department would like to recognize 16 student athletes for being named in the NJCAA All-Academic teams for the 2020-2021 year.
