Tamika Catchings to Speak at Cleveland State in 2023

April 13, 2022 — Recently, Cleveland State Community College hosted Archie Manning to campus for a night of conversations about his life in the National Football League and raising three sons, two of whom became college and professional football stars. Over 1,300 people were in attendance, and over $106,000 was raised for the CSCC Foundation. Building on this success, CSCC has selected former Lady Vols basketball player Tamika Catchings as its speaker in February of 2023. CSCC Dedicates a Road on Campus to Jim Cigliano

Cigliano stepping down as CSCC men's basketball coach

October 11, 2021 — For the last 25 years, Lee Cigliano has been a fixture on the sidelines as he guided the Cleveland State Community College men's basketball team. Now, after a very successful career as head coach of the Cougars, Cigliano has decided to pass the torch to assistant coach Rafael Howard. CSCC Student Athletes Named to the NJCAA All-American Teams and NJCAA Team Academic Award

July 29, 2021 — Not only are the student athletes competitive in their games at Cleveland State Community College, but they’re also dominating in the classrooms. The CSCC athletic department would like to recognize 16 student athletes for being named in the NJCAA All-Academic teams for the 2020-2021 year. Commission to consider resolutions on paramedic program, redistricting, command center naming

July 21, 2021 — A resolution authorizing Bradley County Mayor D. Gary Davis to execute a memorandum of understanding with Cleveland State Community College for enrollment of current Bradley County AEMTs in the paramedic program for an initial term of two years with three additional one-year optional renewal terms. This item will be presented by Commissioner Bill Winters. According to the proposed resolution, “It is to the mutual benefit of Bradley County and Cleveland State Community College to provide advanced workforce training and certification to students enrolled in certain programs of the institution.” In an effort to meet the critical workforce demand for paramedics, CSCC and Bradley County “desire to partner to offer AEMTs the opportunity to enroll in Cleveland State Community College Paramedic Program at no cost to the student.” Read more about Commission to consider resolutions on paramedic program, redistricting, command center naming
