CSCC Celebrates 14 Years of Dr. Suess

February 16, 2018 — CSCC will host the 14th annual Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss celebration on Saturday, March 3. The event will take place from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Cleveland State’s Library and is sponsored by the Early Childhood Education program and the CSCC Library. CSCC Now Accepting Summer and Fall Nursing Cohorts

February 16, 2018 — Cleveland State Community College received word on Tuesday that the Tennessee Board of Nursing (TBN) lifted its sanction that has prohibited the college from enrolling new Nursing Program cohorts since last summer. This news came from the official TBN Board meeting held on Wednesday in Nashville. This decision was based on the fact that the college completed the 2017 calendar year with a first-time pass rate that exceeds the 85 percent benchmark on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Weekend College at CSCC Starts Fall 2018

February 09, 2018 — Cleveland State Community College recently announced an alternative scheduling option for working adults—weekend college! Athens Center Hosts Ticket to Service

February 09, 2018 — Cleveland State Community College Athens Center is hosting its second annual Ticket to Service Volunteer Showcase at the Athens Center on Wednesday, February 14 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The purpose of this event is to connect students with service agencies in McMinn and Monroe Counties in order for them to become aware of volunteer opportunities and ways in which they may become more involved in the community. Young Americans are Coming to CSCC

February 05, 2018 — Hundreds of Cleveland area kids are preparing for the opportunity of a lifetime when they will take classes and perform with California-based , The Young Americans. This nonprofit music, dance, and performance company will make a tour stop at the Cleveland State Community College March 8-10, 2018, during its Southern Region Tour. The Young Americans are committed to inspiring the world through global music outreach and performance excellence among audiences of all ages. CSCC Plans Reconnect Information Sessions

January 30, 2018 — Cleveland State Community College will be hosting Reconnect Information Sessions on Thursday, February 8 in the Enrollment Services Center located in Suite 117 of the George L. Growing Our Future

January 19, 2017 — Some important announcements were made at Cleveland State Community College on Thursday. In the college’s “Growing Our Future” press conference held in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium, Dr. Bill Seymour and other representatives from CSCC shared plans for new athletic sports programs, enhanced academic programs and a significant financial contribution which will result in the first named academic program at the college.
