CSCC Offers STEAM Camps for Summer Enrichment

April 09, 2021 — Summer is just around the corner, and Cleveland State Community College recently announced its annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Camp schedule. This summer’s schedule will include a variety of camps including 3D Design and Print, Balsa Bridge Building, Bucket Drumming, Coding, Digital Media, Girls in Engineering, Imaginative Drawing, Rhythm and Sound, and both Beginner and Intermediate Lego® Robotic Camps. STEAM Camps will be offered at both the main campus, as well as the Monroe County Center. In addition, there will be a virtual musical theater camp this year. Cleveland State’s Wildlife Society to Participate in Thousand Acre Clean Up

March 30, 2021 — Cleveland State’s Wildlife Society and Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries majors will be participating in the Thousand Acre Clean Up on Saturday, March 27. A part of the Tennessee Cleaner Landscapes for the Economy, Agriculture and Nature (CLEAN) initiative, the students will join a number of other volunteers cleaning up litter across several properties in the Cleveland community. CSCC’s Speech and Debate Team Place in State Championshi

March 21, 2021 — The Cleveland State Community College Speech and Debate Team has a reason to celebrate! The team recently competed in the Tennessee Intercollegiate Forensics Association (TIFA) State Championship on Feb. 13 bringing home many awards. The TIFA is an organization created in 2006 by colleges and universities across the state of Tennessee who meet annually to compete, inspire, and learn from gifted and creative students. Cleveland State Celebrates Grand Opening of New Health and Science Center

March 21, 2021 — Just a little over a year and a half ago, Cleveland State Community College hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking at the corner of Adkisson Drive and Normal Chapel Road for its new Health and Science Center, and on Friday, March 5, 2021 for the first time in nearly half a century, the college cut the ribbon on this brand-new academic facility on its main campus. Due to COVID restrictions, instead of the typical large celebration, the college chose to hold a smaller gathering to commemorate the occasion that included Governor Bill Lee and other local dignitaries and friends of the college. Cleveland State's Neidich Receives UTC Assets And Dean’s Merit Scholarships

June 08, 2020 — Cleveland State student Beau Neidich is the recent recipient of two scholarships to UTC, the UTC Assets and Dean’s Merit Scholarships available through the College of Engineering and Computer Science. These scholarships provide academic and financial support for students majoring in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. April 09, 2020 — Hospitals were in desperate need of face shields to protect doctors, nurses, and other staff from the Coronavirus.
