CSCC Foundation Receives 300K, Job Recovery Bootcamp Begins

September 30, 2020 — With the help of the Tennessee Department of Human Services, more than $300,000 in Tennessee Community CARES Program funding is headed to the Cleveland State Community College Foundation. The gift will fund the college’s brand new Quick Job Recovery Bootcamp. This program will create free workforce training to lead to gainful employment of those within the college’s service area who lost their source of income and economic security due to COVID-19. Holguin Leading Cleveland State Students, New Student Body President

September 30, 2020 — 20-year-old Samary “Sam” Holguin of Cleveland, Tennessee is sinking her teeth into college life at Cleveland State Community College. A sophomore in the CSCC Honors College plans to be a dentist one day. Today, though, she is opening her mouth and serving as the voice of the college’s brand new Student Government Association President. June 08, 2020 — Cleveland State student Beau Neidich is the recent recipient of two scholarships to UTC, the UTC Assets and Dean’s Merit Scholarships available through the College of Engineering and Computer Science. These scholarships provide academic and financial support for students majoring in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
