Regents Award for Excellence in Philanthropy

November 02, 2022 — Cleveland State Community College, the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Athens, and the Tennessee Board of Regents presented the City of Athens, McMinn County, and the McMinn County Economic Development Agency with the 2022 Regents Award for Excellence in Philanthropy at a reception at the McMinn Higher Education Center on Nov. 1. The Regents Award serves to recognize persons and organizations that have clearly demonstrated generosity of time and resources to TBR institutions, encourages others, promotes higher education and provides an example of ethical leadership, civic responsibility and integrity. Andrea Byerly Joins Communications Department

October 25, 2022 — Cleveland State Community College introduces Andrea Byerly as the new Public and Media Relations Manager. Andrea joined Cleveland State in February 2020 as the Continuing Education Coordinator for Workforce Development. August 18, 2022 — Designing bridges, building towers, purifying water, and making bath salts! Sixteen young women recently attended the Girls in Engineering Summer STEAM Camp at Cleveland State and completed these projects and more. May 06, 2022 — After a national search and campus forums for four finalists, Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor Flora W. Tydings is recommending Dr. Ty A. Stone for appointment as the next president of Cleveland State Community College. The Board of Regents will convene a special called meeting May 25 to consider acting on the appointment.
