CSCC Recognizes Distinguished Honor Award Recipients

July 06, 2017 — Three individuals were recognized for their dedication and hard work at Cleveland State Community College’s spring Commencement Ceremony. Haley Hodgson was selected as the 2017 Distinguished Graduate. Dr. Robert Brandon was selected as the Distinguished Staff Member and Dr. Victoria Bryan was selected as the Distinguished Faculty Member. Cleveland State Names Third Class of Presidential Honors Scholars

July 06, 2017 — Cleveland State Community College recently named its third class of Presidential Honors Scholarships. The Presidential Honors Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for the top high school graduates who attend CSCC. Students must be accepted into the CSCC Honors Program and will also participate in a Presidential Leadership Program. The Presidential Honors Scholarship is designed to assist students with books and other educational expenses, such as non-mandatory fees. June 21, 2017 — Mrs. Tennessee Winner Brittany Graves needed flexibility when choosing her college. Not only is she a student at Cleveland State Community College, she is also a wife, mother, and business owner, so the convenience of online classes is what attracted her to CSCC. CSCC Alum Jim Evans Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

June 20, 2017 — When CSCC alum Jim Evans enrolled at Cleveland State Community College years ago, he didn’t realize that would be the first step to a productive career in wildlife resources. Fast forward a few decades, Evans is the recent winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Tennessee Chapter of the Wildlife Society. CSCC’s PTK Omega Omicron Chapter Brings Home Multiple Awards

June 20, 2017 — Members of Cleveland State Community College’s Omega Omicron Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society have a reason to smile after bringing home a plethora of awards from two recent conferences. PTK members and advisors from different chapters competed for recognition in the Society’s Hallmarks of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship at the Phi Theta Kappa International Catalyst Conference and the Tennessee Regional Conference, both held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville.
