What is Pre-Health Professions Emphasis (Dentistry, Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine): General Transfer Major?
The Associate of Science in Pre-Health Professions is designed to prepare students for more advanced study in a pathway through which students can pursue professional, doctoral-level healthcare careers (Dentistry, Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine). Depending on the career, this usually occurs after transferring to a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
