New Director of Human Resources at Cleveland State Community College

June 14, 2021 — Cleveland State Community College recently welcomed a new Director of Human Resources. Kellie Frank started her position at the college in May after the former Director of Human Resources, Joan Bates, retired after 41 years. Grand Opening for CSCC's Athens Location - The McMinn Higher Education Center

June 14, 2021 — Cleveland State Community College is celebrating its grand opening of the McMinn Higher Education Center (MHEC) located at 2345 Denso Drive in Athens. This center will be a location for students in McMinn County to complete their degrees without traveling to the Cleveland campus. This is the second new building to be dedicated for Cleveland State in the last three months after 46 years. Boys And Girls Club Program Resumes At Cleveland State Community College

June 14, 2021 — Since the pandemic, many programs and events were limited or canceled in regards to the community’s safety against COVID-19. CSCC is proud to announce that one of our most valuable programs is returning this summer. Starting June 1, The Boys and Girls Club of the Ocoee Region (BGCOR) will be back and operating at Cleveland State Community College. The goal for BGCOR is for the youth to continue life with a growth mindset continuing their education via College/University, Vocation/Trade, and or the Military. Derrick Kinsey, Chief Executive Officer for BGCOR, believes the partnership with CSCC helps youth in the community grow stronger and build successful relationships. Event Spaces Back Open At CSCC

June 14, 2021 — Cleveland State Community College is offering great deals for renting out space for your next event. Now that the campus is fully open, the college is resuming rental spaces for the community’s needs. Cleveland State's Neidich Receives UTC Assets And Dean’s Merit Scholarships

June 08, 2020 — Cleveland State student Beau Neidich is the recent recipient of two scholarships to UTC, the UTC Assets and Dean’s Merit Scholarships available through the College of Engineering and Computer Science. These scholarships provide academic and financial support for students majoring in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
