Robert Brewer

Robert joined Cleveland State Community College in August, 2003. During his time at the college he has developed the first 2-year Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries program in the state and has developed a student chapter of The Wildlife Society. The first A.S. in Forestry Wildlife and Fisheries was offered in 2013. Since its beginning, the program has continued to grow and has seen exceptional success for students transferring to senior institutions. Robert is a member of The Wildlife Society and the faculty advisor to the Student Chapter at Cleveland State.

Robert was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee where he spent most of his youth roaming the fields and forests of his grandparent’s farm. It was there that he developed his passion for conservation. He attended The University of Tennessee where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science with minors in Forestry and Zoology in 1990 and his Master of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in 1999.
