Math & Science Alumni Reception

CLEVELAND, TN - Cleveland State Community College Math and Science Department and Alumni Relations will host a Math and Science Alumni Reception on Thursday, April 13, 2023, 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the atrium of the Health and Science Center on campus. 

Anyone who attended Cleveland State and studied math or science is invited to attend. Areas of study for math and science include agriculture, engineering, forestry, wildlife and fisheries (FWF) and math sciences. Current and former instructors will join alumni for this inaugural event. There will be refreshments and door prizes as alumni have the opportunity to reconnect and network with classmates, instructors and staff. 

Jill Norton Woodruff, Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations, said, “Cleveland State is always excited to welcome our alumni back to campus. Anyone who attended CSCC and studied math and/or science is welcome to join us. Celebrating achievements and engaging with friends is exactly why we hope our alumni will join us! We want to stay connected with those who got their start here."  

Karen Wyrick, Cleveland State Dean of Math and Science, said, “This is a great way for our faculty to reconnect with former students. We hope you will mark your calendar to come and share your experiences with us. We look forward to seeing you.”
