CLEVELAND, Tenn. – In the spirit of “Community First,” Cleveland State is providing extended hours for student services in the upcoming weeks leading to the beginning of the spring semester.

“We want to make it as convenient as we can for students to complete the enrollment process,” stated Dr. Michael Stokes, Vice President for Student Services. “As the start of the semester is approaching quickly, it's important that students who want to enroll this spring complete the advising and registration process as soon as possible to ensure their spot in spring classes.”

While campus offices are regularly open 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, CSCC will be offering extended hours in January to assist new and returning students with their last minute registrations. Campus offices including Admissions, Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, the Bursar’s Office, and the Information Help Desk will be open until 6 p.m. Monday, January 7 – Thursday, January 10. New and returning students are invited to come during any of these times to make sure they are enrolled and ready to start classes on Monday, January 14.

Offices will also be open until 6 p.m. Monday, January 14 – Thursday, January 17 so students can complete schedule adjustments, financial aid requirements, fee payments and bookstore purchases through the first week of classes.

The Advising Center will be available to assist students with their class schedules for the spring semester.  Advising Center hours at the Cleveland location will be held in the George L. Mathis Student Center Conference Room on the following dates and times:

1 - 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 3 and Friday, January 4

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday, January 7 and Tuesday, January 8

9 a.m. - 6 p.m.  Wednesday, January 9 and Thursday, January 10

Athens Center students can meet with an advisor in room 112 during the following dates and times:

12 - 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 3

2 - 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9

Students are also invited to save some time and skip the line in the CSCC Bookstore by ordering books online at www.csccshop.com and select free in store pick up. Cleveland State will do all the work for you, and you’ll receive an email when your order is ready to pick up. When you arrive at the bookstore, you do not have to wait in the line for the register. You inform a bookstore team member and inform them you ordered your books online. You need to make sure you have a photo ID with you at the time of pick up. You can use your financial aid to purchase your books and supplies.
