All, Students
Dear Cleveland State Student,
To provide better service to our students Cleveland State is implementing a change to our CougarNet password process. This change will bring students into the same systems as faculty and staff, increasing security and preparing for further positive changes for our technology resources.
Starting Thursday, February 16th students will be able to change their password using the Cleveland State Password Portal. Your current CougarNet password will continue to work until March 15th, giving you ample time to make the change.
Instructions on how to change your password
Once your password has been changed following those instructions students will also have access to the Cleveland State G-Suite for Education email (Gmail) instead of the email within CougarNet. There will be no change to your email address. Existing CougarNet email has not been migrated to Gmail, but new emails will be delivered to both Gmail and CougarNet.
As of Wednesday, March 15th any student who has not yet changed their password will be required to do that before they can login to CougarNet.
Passwords for students must meet the TBR Password Management Guideline G-050: https://policies.tbr.edu/guidelines/password-management
For any questions, please contact the Cleveland State Help Desk at (423) 478-6210.
Thank you,
Chris Mowery
