Help for ITT Technical Institute Students
Need Help? Contact Us!
Cleveland State Community College invites students from ITT Technical Institute to schedule a visit so that we can work to help you continue on a path to achieve your goal of earning a credential in a related field. Cleveland State is a public and proud Veteran Friendly comprehensive community college accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission (SACSCOC).
Cleveland State has degree and certificate programs to choose from that might help you continue such as an Industrial Technology Degree with concentrations in Drafting and Design, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical and Computer Information Technology, Business Certificates and Degrees and Criminal Justice. Every ITT Tech student’s situation is unique depending on where you are in the process and what has been invested to get there. We can help you determine what credits may transfer and the financial aid path that may be best for you to pursue.
For ITT Tech credits that may not automatically transfer, Cleveland State offers processes like Prior Learning Assessment, which can allow students to petition to earn academic credit by assessment or for life and job experience. We also have scholarships that may be available!
Cleveland State encourages ITT Tech students to contact our Enrollment Services Center to find out about the possible transfer of credits and about degree programs similar to those offered by ITT Tech. We will strive to help you position yourself in the best possible scenario to start this upcoming spring semester to continue your education.
To start the process, apply to Cleveland State Community College for the Spring Semester. There is no application fee. If you need assistance with the application and enrollment process you are encouraged to contact the Enrollment Services Center for help.
The Enrollment Services Center will work with you to help you meet admission requirements such as providing transcripts from any college previously attended. All of our degree programs are listed on our website and in our College Catalog
Financial is here to help. Our Financial Aid Office will be able to help you determine your financial aid options, as well as recommend Cleveland State scholarships for which you may be eligible.
Credit Transfer & Prior Learning Assessment
Your ITT Tech classes will be assessed individually to determine if they will transfer for academic credit at Cleveland State. We also offer Prior Learning Assessment (Hyperlink), which could allow you to petition to earn academic credit by assessment or through life and job experience, certifications and prior education.
Speak to an Advisor
Cleveland State’s advisors are trained to assist students who plan to enter the workforce or those who desire to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a Bachelor’s degree. An advisor will work with you to help you determine the best courses for you to take to get on track with the degree you’re working toward.
