TN Promise Scholarship students MUST ALSO REPORT THEIR COMPLETED SERVICE HOURS IN ( and do not share information). Failure to report service hours in WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF SCHOLARSHIP.

Donate Your Old, Gently Used Athletic Shoes to Keep America Beautiful!

Cleveland/Bradley Keep America Beautiful needs donations of gently worn (or new) athletic shoes to recycle through donation. A “Santek” collection box has been placed in the Student Center (between the Student Senate Office and the Administrative Offices – across from the booths). It will remain there until Wednesday, May 31st. You may also drop-off shoes to Brooklyn Sewell (Career Education E308A) or Sherry Holloway (Career Education E308B). Keep America Beautiful will ship collected shoes to people of need in the following countries: Haiti, Dominican Republic, Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Columbia, Peru, Chile, Morocco, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Tanzania, Mwambashi, Botswana, Ukraine, Easter Europe, Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan, India, and Philippines. In addition to providing shoes to those of need, your donation helps keep shoes out of landfills. In the U.S. alone, approximately 600 million pairs of shoes are thrown away each year and make their way to landfills.
